Nasarawa killings: Al-Makura inagurates 9-man judicial commission of inquiry

GOVERNOR Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State, on Wednesday, inaugurated a nine-man Judicial Commission of Inquiry, headed by retired Justice Joseph Fola Gbadeyan, over the recent killings of over 90 security operatives at Alakyio village in Lafia East Development Area of the state.

The killings took place at Alakyo village in Lafia Local Government Area in May.

The commission, headed by a retired Chief Judge of Kwara State, Joseph Fola Gbadeyan, has six weeks from the date of its inaugural sitting to complete its assignment.
