Afenifere faults Turaki Committee on compensation to victims of Boko Haram

afenifere_meetingTHE pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere, on Monday faulted the plan by the Presidential Committee on Dialogue and Peaceful Resolution on Security challenges in the North that only military personnel among victims of the Boko Haram carnage would receive compensation.

The organisation was reacting to a report credited to the chairman of the committee, Alhaji Taminu Turaki, that there would be no compensation for the victims of Boko Haram insurgency.
