Jailbreak: 54 Prison Inmates Rearrested In Akure

Out of the 175 prison inmates who escaped during a jailbreak from the Olokuta Medium Security Prison in Akure, the Ondo state capital in the early hours of Sunday, no fewer than 54 of them have been rearrested by the police, the Ondo Police Command has confirmed.

This confirmation was made on Monday, by the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Mr Wole Ogodo in a statement issued in Akure.
